Did it not occur to you to just unplug the thing?
You wouldn't notice the smell for a few hours...........

I used to live on a 4 lane freeway and believe it

Eventually I got used to the noise...even crashes

Like living near an Airport

It all becomes normal eventually

How ever as a part time Shrink something tells me there could be a Mouse(gagged) in the wall having a toss(with a condom on)and you'd still hear it

cheers

not sure that will work nosey, you mean you want the delivery driver from Comet to come round and throw his freezer out the window at a cost of ?4.95 and not at the weekends??
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?
