British Comedy Awards

Post by Wink Wink »

Anybody else watch this last night? What a shambles!!! I know it was live but even so!!

Some of the nominations were utter crap!!

Why give an award to Steve Coogan??......never really liked him!!!

Jonathan Ross was just silly & some of his jokes were crass!!

If that's the best of British Comedy then it's in a poor state!!!

No I didn't, and won't, as a matter of principle, until this forum at least gets a nomination, and S56 an award for Lifetime Achievement...........

not a patch on ?Little Britain? on BBC2 and BBC3, along with ?Harry Hills TV Burp? on ITV1, did anybody catch last weeks episode, fucking hilarious with Harry (complete with wig) performing with the 4 ?gay singers? from the Jonathan Ross show ? I was in hysterics.
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

Harry Hill is the best there is. His mugging to the camera and his asides have me in stitches every fucking time. Love him. Even with the easy targets he's got on that programme. And he's superb live. It seems unjust to compare him on the same thread as Ross (who, I think really believes he's funny).

woodgnome - ur the 3rd person including me who i kno who likes peep show....its q. embarassing cos Jez (? ) is unnerving similar to how i have been at points in terms of locking self in room and as i noticed earlier we both have cream coloured walls which have been half painted orange and then given up - bit spooky :S!
