Blair certainly invites favourable views of the Opposition.
Boris' clownishness is what annoys: fine down the pub or at Henley, but I pefer a little more gravitas in my politicians. I have no (well, not much) personal animus against him- except that he's a Tory twit, of course.........
Your two examples I like as peoplel: it's just their policies I violently disagree with.
