Jagger's Knighthood

Post by Terry May »

Did you know that the Stones have a quite excellent business management team and that the reason for Jagger Knighthood coming at this time is this.

Originally it was planned to give it to him some months ago but he asked for the date to be shifted because of touring commitments. It was moved several times because of this and the most recent date was Monday 8th December however this clashed with the England Rugby team parade hence taking the limelight from Mick so it was changed to today December 12 th - maximum publicity ( just look at todays news and tomorrows papers).
And the reason for this?? The Stones as I said are a money making business and the date was changed to near Christmas to give even more publicity to Mick and the band to help maximise their Christmas sales- a time when the band now traditionally sell most CD's videos etc.

It's all about money, aint a damn thing funny!

Oh and Mick is also one of the meanest men in showbiz too!

I don't. A genius (except at swimming...).
I thought they didn't really lose it totally until about 1980- but it was certainly all downhill from about '73.
