I've been called Sir on many occasions

As for titles well for gods sake if you want one just buy it like everybody else....I hear titles are easy to come across if you have the cash

cheers

Old rubberlips has craved for social acceptance for years. I dont begrudge him for wanting to better his social standing and arselicking his way to do it, thats HIS choice, but if he does so, then he should pack being a singer in the Stones. They were rebellious and anti-establishment in their time, but now resemble a slick money making marketing machine.
Keef and Charlie are very respected, Mick comes across as a wannabee. Ronnie doesn't get that much recognition considering he's been with them for nearly 30 years, and as for Brian, it was his group, but drugs soon put paid to that. A prime example of a wasted talent.
They were shite after 1972, although did turn out a few tunes on Some Girls (78) and Emotional Rescue (80) but nothing on Tattoo You or Steel Wheels can be classed as good from a band like The Rolling Stones.
Their 40 Licks CD is excellent, trouble is, all of it is from their first 15 years, and hardly anything from 1975 on it. I think this says a lot IMO

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I've met the man on the street............and he's a cunt
