De-evolution please discuss

Post by Cornish Chris »

I am still convinced that man has peaked in the evolutionary scale,
and that we are now in the slow trail back to apes.

Devo were 100% correct in 1976's excellent Jocko Homo.

I quote
"God made man, but he used a monkey to do it.
Apes in his plan, I can see right through it.
We walk like an ape, talk like an ape, do what a monkey can do.
God made man, but a monkey supplied the glue."

Q. Are we not men ??
A. We are Devo.

Being a half breed, i'm 50% split on the issue. Smelly, hairy ass at one end, with the ability to walk upright and talk complete shit. Jeez, sounds like the French....

I ment this culturely, I am sure that physically the progression back to the ape will take many millions of years, scientists/biologists now agree that
in general humans were both less hairy and had slightly larger brains during
Victorian times. However we now use different sections of our brain to complete tasks, owing to technology.
The summary in general is that possibly the very computer we all rely on is
infact the very thing that makes man an endangered species in the future.
Remarkably cultures that do not have computer technology still show signs of general evolution.

Interesting stuff (Well to me anyway).

Cool there seems to be plenty of fish stocks everywhere apart from Cornwall.
Went to Gods own Country (Merseyside) last weekend and had a good catch of cod/whiting/dabs from the murky mersey.

Boiling crabs live IS wrong, thats why you should spike them between the mouth parts which effectivly mashes their brains killing them instantly.
Prawns are always boiled alive. I sense some flack from the ALF types a coming soon.
