Isms don't work, go far enough left or far enough right and you find that politics is a circle. Never trust anyone who offers you a guaranteed get-rich quick scheme, a politician or manifesto that promises an end to poverty or hardship, or any person incapable of laughing at themselves or cannot concede the possibility that he might be wrong.
