Some of those Stacks recordings still cut the mustard Stevie, but I perfer R&B and Soul from this era. You can stick yer Diana Ross up yer arse IMO

eddie floyd knock on wood bowie recorded it in 70s but eddies the best version,arthur conelys sweet soul music another good one.

bowie did it as a single in 74 from david live not a very good live lp really,wasnt amys version disco then she did light my fire

Thats right Stevie, touted as the *new* Donna Summer at the time. Did 2 disco songs before fading into obscurity.
I don't mind admitting that I have On The Radio by Donna Summer.......awsome voice and still sounds good if you can 'ignore' the disco sound from the time
