For VIZ fans and Fast Show fans

I was reading 'Dogs Bollocks' today (ahhhhhh, the student life) best of Viz 26-41 and noticed amongst the contributers was a certain 'Charlie Higson' of Fast Show/Harry Enfield fame. Anyone know which cartoon/article he wrote? Bare in mind this was 1987-1989, so he was obviously in his very early writing days

On the 'other 'grown-ups' forum, I posted that Marino looked like a hit man from The Soprano's (Furio). He is also a deadringer for the 'geezer' in The Fast Show, y'know the one.....'I'm a little bit wurgh, a little bit waaaay, I'm a GEEZER'

I believe Charlie Higson wrote many of the "... imagine my surprise when..." type of stories.

Paul Whitehouse was in the same politics tutorial group as me at UEA. As I recall he left after the second term. I don't remember him being a "comedian" in lectures... just pissed all the time!

I have a Viz magazine (not one of the normal bi-monthly
issues) called Viz Holiday Special that has a date of
November 1990 in it (seventh printing).

This has one of those photographic stories called
Heartbreak Hotel, where a couple go on holiday and
the boyfriend treats the girl very badly while they are
away.

The boyfriend in the photographs is Harry Enfield.

I collected and still have some of the old Viz magazines.

I have issues 28, 29, 30, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40,
41, 42, 43, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 59, 69

I also have the books

Big Hard Number 2 (13-18)
Big Stiff One (19-25)
Dogs Bollocks (26-31)
Spunky Parts (32-37)
Porky Chopper (48-52)

In fact issue 47 does say on the front cover:
