I was reading 'Dogs Bollocks' today (ahhhhhh, the student life) best of Viz 26-41 and noticed amongst the contributers was a certain 'Charlie Higson' of Fast Show/Harry Enfield fame. Anyone know which cartoon/article he wrote? Bare in mind this was 1987-1989, so he was obviously in his very early writing days

I believe Charlie Higson wrote many of the "... imagine my surprise when..." type of stories.
Paul Whitehouse was in the same politics tutorial group as me at UEA. As I recall he left after the second term. I don't remember him being a "comedian" in lectures... just pissed all the time!

I have a Viz magazine (not one of the normal bi-monthly
issues) called Viz Holiday Special that has a date of
November 1990 in it (seventh printing).
This has one of those photographic stories called
Heartbreak Hotel, where a couple go on holiday and
the boyfriend treats the girl very badly while they are
away.
The boyfriend in the photographs is Harry Enfield.
