I've just watched the 100 worst pop songs ever. Who decided this list?
I'm sorry but there is noway that The Cheeky Girls is worse than that talentless little gobshite Gareth Gates.

Jordan is as rough as they come but WTF made her think that shagging him was a good idea?

I had 'Agadoo' or 'The Birdie Song' as the winner. Still shocking all these years on!!
Magoo and other fans of 'Auf Weidershen, Pet' will remember Jimmy 'Oz' Nail kicking in a juke box as it was playing 'Aga-bloody-doo?' at 'The Barley Mow'

its all a bit silly tho - i mean certain more "serious" songs like the Hanson one and Lionel Richie (ie not novelty ones) were only annoying for different reasons, id like to see most ppl try to write that kinda thing...100 worst lists are shit its the 100 best that was q.good

ID is correct, some were chosed for dodgy videos or out of date fashions and not for their lack of musical merit.
Lionel Ritchie is an amazing singer and didn't deserve a place in the list, (although the video for 'Hello' CERTAINLY did!!)

Perhaps we should have the 100 worst of the 100 worst list!! I mean they have done a few.....TV shows, Movies, Pop Songs etc!

i agree the Hello video is appalling as are most of his videos but his songwriting skills are pretty clear. i grew up with one of his tapes being played on car journeys and there was a lotta classics on it. personal favourite being Easy which i now love thanks to Faith No More's cover - i expect you have heard it tho Ace?

also on musical merit - people underestimate catchiness in songs, i dont think i could write anything as catchy and poppy as MmmBop in a million years especially not at the age of 14 so i find it hard to hate them solely for that.

her song 'Why' is one of the best singles ever.
