Might it be to get past people's security? Some people put blocks on certain words on their email server. By generating some bizarrely random words, this spammer (and I've received a number of similar ones, Magoo) bypasses that.

(Sorry if this has already been suggested; not long in and couldn't be bothered checking every contribution to the thread).

It has- but no-one's yet come up with a convincing explanation of how it's supposed to actually SELL anything or make money, apart from the rather weak 'curiosity' theory.
