Are you sure that's what you mean? by your definition boxing, judo, fencing, dressage and all gymnastics amongst others will be out.

Football, tennis, basketball, darts and dominoes will be in.

Not right surely?

Havn't there been proven cases of corruption etc. when there are judges involved? Watching skating, for instance, see the virtually identical points awarded. As someone who has worked in academia I know that even with apparently objective tests there can be major divergences between markers.
Boxing? I seem to recollect that the points awarded vary wildly. I don't know what the answer is there - its tempting to say KO or draw.
Darts? Why not if Ballroom Dancing has been proposed (that has to be a joke).

Let the North have it- look, e.g., at Manc's great efforts for the Commonwealths.
I just don't want the hassle- besides which, I can guarantee that the transport system, already at breaking-point, can't hack it. And all that wonted money never seems to filter down in Lunnun.........
Either that, or hold it in S56's back bedroom, and he can put the entrance-money toward his next ?3000 C Tax bill.

If the Olympics is about making money then why do they always use thousands of Volunteers?

Grubby would be an understatement

Would probably rival some of my old striped work shirts.....I wore them so long I wasn't aware the back had become see through until a colleague alerted me to it

Should be like a Wedding Dress

Never to be seen again after the big day

cheers
