Since a re-instal, new windows don't open maximum size and I have to keep re-sizing. I think its something simple but I'm buggered if I can make the correct settings.

Re: Simple but annoying problem
You will need to make sure you are using the correct drivers for you screen res, you need to go into control panel, and check your display settings. ie -: 640x800 etc it,s under screen setting, chosse the right size, and allow windows to re-size, you may need to re-start your puter after you have done it, depending on which version of windows you are using........

Re: Simple but annoying problem
It's really weird. When I log onto this site it opens in a full size window. But if I then click on a link that opens in a smaller window. Once I've resized that everything is OK within a site but the problem starts all over again if I move to another site via a clickable link.
I've tried everything you guys have suggested bar posting on a techie forum.

Some programs remember the size of the last window
that it closes and in the future reopens windows with
the new size.
See if the hint on web site below helps

Re: The Return of the Simple but annoying problem
I've had a complete reinstal of Windows98 recently and the small window problem is back. I've tried the solution Guilbert posted (which worked last time) but it doesn't do the trick now.
It doesn't happen straight away. On this site everything is OK until I get to a page of pic links then each of them opens in a smaller size.
