This is the new Halle Berry film out April 2nd.
STORY
A criminal psychiatrist (Halle Berry) at a correctional facility wakes up in a cell of the same facility charged with the murder of her husband.
PROS
- some fantastic jump out of your seat moments
- creepy in places
- an intriguing storyline which involves the ghost of a suicide victim
CONS
- an ending which is utterly laugh out loud ludicrous
VERDICT
For the first 2 acts this is quite an enjoyable supernatural thriller with plenty of effective shock moments but there is one scene towards the end where all is revealed which is so bad it spoils all that has gone before. Penelope Cruz is totally wasted in this - her character is a waste of time and frankly so is Robert Downey Jr which is a shame as he is a good actor when not coked to the tits. The majority of this is entertaining spolit by a daft ending.
Oh and one last thing - can they get someone who isn't a 6th former to spell this films title correctly?
