Why Ruby shot Oswald is one of those great mysteries.
Ruby was a small time 'hood' and crook who owned a strip club
in Dallas.
It was often frequented by policemen, which is how Ruby got into
the police building the day he shot Oswold, he knew so many of
the cops who worked there.
One theory is that the mafia were involved in the killing of JFK,
and they wanted Oswold out the way so it could never be proved
one way or the other if he had killed JFK.
After all, if it could be proved that Oswold did NOT do it, the
police/FBI/CIA would then keep looking for whoever did.
Ruby was leant on to do the killing, one theory being he was
already dying of cancer.
