rod did it in 70s,mike d"abo wrote it,chris farlowe was the 1st version i heard in 67 i just turned 11,the latest is the stereophonics its on the juke box in my local.

never seen the offie but it must be as thats the recent version,its on the juke box at my local pub with some 50s r/r too.

It is the S/phonics, but on the xmas editition, they used Rodney at the end!

The track itself was written by Mike D'abo, around 1974, I think he had a famous sister, everybody wanted to bang!

Any relation to Olivia who played the sister in Wonder Years? Karen I think. Her boyfriend in it was the motorcyclist beatnik who went on to be Toss or Ross in Friends

Could be Ace! I just remember he had a sister who was a model or something, he worked with Albert Lee, and even Garcia, but was best know for song writing for other people........
