My neighbours let their hairy arsed dogs bark all night, so you'd think I'd play my Ian Drury CD's at them in retalliation ( they're into Celine Doin and shit like that ). But I dont. Anyway, headphones... I've got a pair of Sennheizer HD590's. They were $370 Aust on special ( roughly 150 pommy dollars ) and are very light and comfortable. They are also a bit 'harsh' on the sound. CD's can sound shrill on some notes and this will show up on a good pair of headphones while full loudspeakers will dampen this down. Some people have said the Sennheizer HD 600's are nicer but I haven't tried them. I also have ( are you impressed ? ) an old pair of Stax electro-static earspeakers ( the Japs call them ) and they sound gorgeous but dont have the thunpimg bass needed when your full of grog on Saturday night and need to feel the music shaking your brain. Dont forget to make sure whatever you buy is comfortable to wear or you'll hate even the best sounding headphones after 20 minutes.

And Holly Valance has surprised me with how good her State of Mind album actually is !

Phwooorr...look at her....CRASH
