Having tried to link images without success - forgive a quick test:

Forgive me if it doesn't work - but perhaps then someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong

Well it doesn't work - but the link is definitely correct - and I used the formatting options from the FAQ - any ideas ?

Hi Rock, the problem lies in the image you are trying to link to, the site or provider wont allow it, some do and some dont, you just do the following-:
[img]http://www.anyimage.co.uk[/img] and it should show if the image provider allows it.....some sites dont!

Image url was made up thats why it doesn,t show http://www.anyimage.co.uk, and you end up wiyh the box and x.

Thanks Lizard - it's still a bit of a mystery - my URL was - definitely real - but I guess my provider won't allow the linking ?

Atip is to right click on the photo/jpeg/gif whatever, to find the real url, not what you think it is always.......

Er, obviously someone didn,t like the picture being shown, the page has been taken down, thats why the pics disappeared

But I always use the Address bar, Highlight, Copy and Paste.
