Glad you like it Bimmercat :D

I would agree that most people seem indifferent about it but like you said once its been on solidly over a weekend or so it'll seriously grow - it seems too easy to listen to all the intros and think "hmm no Outshined or Wake Up riffs here then".

I definitely wouldnt put it up there with Superunknown though - thats a complete album in the line of the greats. Every song sounds different but maintains a theme, Audioslave is a bit more "samey" once you get away from the 6 or 7 main tracks, I think anyway.

Your selection of songs are my favs too including Like A Stone though, on the whole Id totally agree - too many people overlook it as a watered down "supergroup" (stupid word) but I reckon the chorus' are way above most things out there at the moment.

LOL thats a pretty ironic comment Bimmercat, I hope you noticed that the vocal melody of Cochise was exactly that of Whole Lotta Love 3rd generation ? If you didnt then think about it or compare them.

If you like Whole Lotta Love then lsiten to the Small Faces You Need Lovin...no wonder led zep got sued so much, bit like....Oasis :P

Bimmercat - any plans to get last years Strays album by Janes Addiction? I hate most new music - rock music anyway, its so lacking but that albums genuinely great, i have it copied onto tape in my car and listen every time I drive so its def worth the recommendation...cant wait to hear new Audioslave tho :)
