How is this supposed to instil a responsible attitude in our children ???
I mean, there's all them paedos out there on every street-corner, and evil pushers trying to get them to eat Big Macs and hydrogenated fats so they'll end up clinically obese, and nasty confectioners threatening them with dental caries, and being forced to imitate black people, and like Britney Squeers and Nuclear Mongoose or whatever they're called and you can't download an mp3 without going to jail.......
When I was a lad, we got the Beano annual on St Monkeytweezle's Day, and a good sound thrashing every night before bed. And we knew where we stood.

I always tried to swap mine, for the Bunty Annual: which probably says a lot about my tortured childhood.......
And I do mean that literally: I was tortured nightly, by a special Crack Team of Inquisition Torturers, just to keep me on the Straight and Narrow. Never did me any harm.........you can still see the bloodstains on the walls of the old family home, Thrashington Towers, near Whippingem-at-Home.
