Read the Notice on the video. You are not allowed to copy it or resell it. Why should profit - if people want this video, they should buy a top quality original. They are available in UK - the producer (who paid for the whole production) will then be able to afford to make another video! Just copying a video is THEFT. A criminal and civil offence for which you should rightly be prosecuted. You bought the video on the understanding that you would not copy or sell it. THE END - NO ARGUEMENT

There *might* be a misunderstanding here - or there might not. The English language is an ambiguous beast.

The original post got the benefit of the doubt because it referred to *a* copy (singular) and this was taken to mean an original. If he was copying why would he stop at one?

Those who have an original to sell second hand should make it clear that it is an original and otherwise not post such messages at all. See the FAQ.

I read the entire thread to see if anyone else had read the original post as I'm sure it was intended, i.e. a perfectly legitimate offer to sell an original purchased from a bona fide supplier.

Yes, it just may just be that "bazza" meant original, but accidentally (?) described it as a copy - let's ask him!
If it's a genuine tape he's selling, that's a minor offence (still an offence), but if it is a copy he's offering, he will surely not be admitting here that he has made a dozen copies, although he may run off as many copies as he has takers.
