O/T ACHTUNG!!! Possible Virus???

Gentlemen!!!

I tend to clean out my Temp Internet Files/ Document files etc on a regular basis, but have come across a slight problem....

I can clear the cookies/temp int files/history etc... through Internet Options, by exploring the Start menu or the Documents menu.... but today on typing an address in the Address bar I found that a load of other addresses starting with the first few letters all dropped down....

Yes, some of then were of todays surfing.. which all cleared after deleting the documents menu.. but several remained which I am unable to get rid of.

On looking at the pages which these addresses relate... many this forum..... is becomes apparent that all were viewed on April 1st.... good ol' April Fools Day....

Is someone having a prank, is there something nasty floating about out there, or am I missing something?

Has anyone else found the same? Any top tips to get rid of them?

I raise this as I would
1)like to clear these addresses from my pc..... and
2)to make others aware that they may be there, lest any wife/Girlfriend/mother should find them!!!!!

have you looked under: tools/internet options/content/autocomplete and made sure the check box for 'web addresses' is clear?
