Oasis did one awhile back, and the very first I heard was Robbie Williams 'Life thru a lens' about 20 mins after the final track. I thought the CD had finished and was lazing on the settee and a spoken track by Robbie suddenly appeared, made me fucking jump I can tell you.

There's a good five-minute gap at the end of Ms Morrisette's Jagged Little Pill before an unexpected bonus, unaccompanied, song.
Abbey Road had the 30-second Macca ditty Your Majesty just when everyone thought the album was over, and BA Robertson's Initial Success had a jokey song about him being left drifting towards the hole in the middle of the record.

The best I discovered was Cheap Trick (1997). I had to be guided to find it by memebrs of their club. You played the first 4 seconds on track 1, then paused it, press rewind for 1:30 and hey presto! a unique mix of tracks from the album sans vocals. VERY different, and can't be found if playing through a CD Rom on a PC either. Clever or what??

Another music in a different kitchen by the Buzzcocks briefly had a guitar solo played by pete shelley at the end to the backing track of Boredom. And the Manics had a great hidden track at the end of Know your enemy called "we are all bourgeois now" i think.
