Re: A New Asshole on BGAFD
So its ok to say you think someone is gorgeous but not to say you dont? This board is supposed to be an open forum for people to express opinions and make comments about the UK porn industry so why is his opinion any less valid than anyone elses? If the post had been to say she was the best thing to come into porn in the last 20 years and the sexiest woman ever it wouldnt have been removed. Porn is no different to any other industry - different people like different things and whats one person thinks is the best think ever, someone else could think is complete shit.
When a person puts themselves into the public eye (irrespective of the industry / profession) they have to be prepared that not everyone will like them, what they do, what they say, how they look etc etc so I think the post should have been allowed to stay. If someone cant hack that (and Im not saying the girl mentioned cant nor that she asked for it to be removed) then they should consider a new career.
This is an example of big brother (in this case the mods) disagreeing with a post and therefore deciding it should be removed which, in my opinion, is wrong. The one thing that has always annoyed me about this otherwise great site (and more specifically the BGAFD forum) is the way the girls and producers who post here are treated as untouchables - they are given more slack than the average joe schmoe, allowed to say and do things that others wouldnt get away with.
By the way I have no opinion either way on the looks of the person in question and this post would have been the same irrespective of who the girl had been.
I know a lot of people are gonna flame and slag me off but I couldnt care less - Im doing what this board is all about, expressing an opinion.

this board is not an 'open forum' if by that you mean anyone can post anything that pops into their head. we have an faq which we enforce without favouritism. in this instance, i refer you to section 3.7.1 of the faq.

funnily enough, i removed an abusive post by a model only yesterday but then you wouldn't know that because i removed it. your reference to the untouchability of producers is also untrue. some of them have had more posts removed than we care to remember.

and as long as you and any respondents do so within the confines of the faq, that's not a problem.

Re: A New Asshole on BGAFD
The only thing I would like to say on the subject, is that when I (and a few others) said we disliked someone performing while heavily pregnant, we got our posts deleted.
While it is totally up to the mods what they allow on their boards, surely expressing opinions shouldnt be a problem should it? Especially seeing as that opinion was hardly radical.
