you've got to ask why has this series never reached any memorable heights
as Seinfeld did-equally overpaid I might add apart from Kramer & George-they were priceless

In retrospect perhaps it could have done with a bit more cunting- I'm really not in Holden's league for that.

Not so fast, ID, and less of the ageism. I'm nowhere near old-timer status and I thought it was infantile shite as well - at best the bland vanilla of US comedy next to the delicious mocha of Larry Sanders, say. But at least all its clueless 13-yr old fans have got all those embarrassing solo flops to look forward to before the inevitable 'Friendsreunited.'
