after the rightful slagging of Friends I would like to pay homage to one of the best....

all hail to the must amusing 'Cheers' , even if it was only the intro music that you liked

Like many ground-breaking US shows of the time (Hill Street Blues, for example), it looks a little dated now, but some of it was just sublime.

Haven't seen Becker, so I can't comment. Danson had his moments in Cheers---particularly the moment after Diane has told him no one would fall for his bullshit patter, and he very subtlely dishes some out for her. Class.
