Off Licences

Post by Ace »

I dont mean Thresher or Victoria outlets, but the ones stuck on the side of a pub in the 60's and 70's with the gaudy silk window displays selling Party 4 and out-of-date crisps. You just don't see them at all now. The buildings are still there, but act as a store room or cleaners cupboard instead of their real purpose.
Im sure there are still some out there though

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I've met the man on the street............and he's a cunt

My local still has the "Offy" take your jug/container, ring the bell, order & walk away with your ale! in fact it's often quicker to get served there than at the bar lol.
