That is a stunningly good wheeze.
Only flaw I can find is, it would mean even more Wogan.

I can always not watch it, with the sound off.
[I mean, instead of not watching it, with the sound on, rather than just not watching it, if you see what I mean.
And if you do see, could you let me know what it is that I DO Mean?]

Little wonder that the only thing worthy of a mention is T & A when you hear the calibre of songs put up as entertainment

I swear the calibre of song writing is diabolical
then again Eurovision has always been about image and never music IMO

Little wonder todays artists prefer to do covers

One of Europes great dilemmas...

How to write a decent 3 minute pop tune?

Even KC & the Sunshine band sound like the bees knees when compared to this lot of so called "successful" artists

Would have loved to have seen this lot on American Idol

Crucifixion....1st door on the left

yeah thanks for Dave?s, jj?s and buttsie?s comments on this thread although I will say Dave?s comments were slightly less constructive than any of the other two, it beats me how people feel they have to post in a thread when they can not put anything to the bones of their point or argument, please dave a bit more details to your rants and we will know where we stand.
ps jj what was your totp tank-top ten??
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

he he nothing to be ashamed about jj, I mean we all had our tank-top moments ... just some of us wisely keep them stored in the depths of our minds, eh the moments you understand not the tank-tops.

Along with the happy pants I assume

Good to see The Ukranian Tania Russof lookalike winning the comp
backs up my point about image being what Eurovision is all about

Just watched a piece with an English voice over which really stuck the boot into the comp but in a very polite non-aggressive manner....the word Dreary summing it up and Poland(I've heard gurgling down the drain sound better) coming in for special mention

Sour grapes for pretty boy fox with his Country ballad(possibly written by Tony Blair but I missed the credits) coming in 16th I expect

cheers
