Yes Steve, that keyboard jingle is very similar to Pinball Wizard.
Listen to 'You Better,You Bet' by The Who and the vocal arrangement is VERY Queen

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

Listen to most pieces of music and you will find something that sounds like something else!!!

Not exactly a revelation.

I sometimes, no, sorry, I ALWAYS think you post just for the sake of posting.

Could I suggest you take a look at the lyrics of Psycho Killer...

You start a conversation you can't seem to finish it
You're talkin' a lot but you're not sayin' anything
When I have nothing to say my lips are sealed
Say something once why say it again

So next time you have nothing to say (which is pretty much all the time).... stay away from a computer keyboard!

As usual Bob S you are a little too harsh.

Bit getting back on topic, 7 seas of ryhe was one of my favourite songs from the Greatest Hits album i adored whilst growing up. I dont really here too much resemblance tho. The Who were great at what they did i guess ie rock. But Queen are probably the most successful trully multi-generic band ever. I dont think im incorrect in thinking that am I guys? They had concept songs like Crzy little thing called love which is obviously 50s bluesy rock etc. All a bit Zappa :D Freddie was one of a kind

REALLY????? So you've not seen his "Watching paint dry" post then???

I have nothing against people posting on a myriad of subjects.... but posting for the sake of posting just seems pointless to me and should be discouraged!

There are some people who don't believe they trully exist unless they have been on TV. I think Steve56 doesn't believe he exists unless he's posted in this forum... the problem is that he seems to post on average once an hour, about NOTHING!!!!

Unlike a lot of bands - the Stones, say - Queen's longevity rested on clever reinvention, even when previous reinventions had stalled (The Works followed on from Hot Space, for instance.)

Reinventing themselves as a Ben Elton musical wasn't clever at all, mind.

Bob: I have seen the Watching Paint Dry thread which is more the kind of thread that annoys me, but I think it could be argued this thread had a little more content to it than that....I still reckon he's just trying to get his posts up to like 5000 or something. Having said that if im correct in thinking Steve posts from an Internet cafe then maybe hes just trying to get other ppl posting. I myself feel really self consious posting ANYTHING unless its really good :S
