Question for Ace

Post by Bob Singleton »

So what do you think of the new man at The Bridge?

Much as I loved Ranieri and much as I hated the way he was treated by those above him, Mourinho certainly gave a very impressive first press conference.

I can see players like Terry and Lampard flourishing even more under his "I only want winners" attitude... it'll be interesting to see who he ditches.

"But how to make Liverpool economically prosperous? If only there was some way for Liverpudlians to profit from going on and on about the past in a whiny voice."

I don't support Chelski but Ranieri was robbed. How can a club justify sacking their most successful manager of the last 30 years?

Money, thats how, and it's bollocks (imho)

Lampards a slag for leaving West Ham.
The minute we are in trouble, it's every wanker for themselves.
How the fuck are we supposed to get anywhere when we have players with no club loyalty and retarded managers who are more interested in selling players.

Heads up: How can we get anywhere if we sell or get rid of our star players.

Football? I shit it.

how long before Carrick buggers off too, a better player than Cole IMO.

I look forward to our youth team getting hammered (no pun intended) by you and the rest of the division next season, oh the joy of supporting your home town (little dig at the glory hunters around) ;-)

we are Leeds.... , and we can still beat the mighty Chester

Well they are my home team and even if they end up in the Sunday League, I will still find time to bitch about it.

we are Leeds.... well, until we become a supermarket.... - ike it!

Its all about instant success especially when you spend hundred of millions
and win no silverware

Nothing short of winning The Champions League or the EPL would have saved him

I too care little for this football which resembles more a game of monopoly than sport

No loyalty due in part to the Bosman ruling

cheers

I know the feeling mate, good and bad times and all that. One of the best examples i came across was a pal of mine who stopped supporting Wimbledon when they moved and starting going to watch Wimbledon AFC. This probably sounds sad but I don't think you get to choose who you support unless it's something you pick up as a kid for some obscure reason

The Wimbledon AFC thing was a load of bollocks.
Fair enough I can understand fans being fucked off at having to go to MK, it's a shit hole, but to stop supporting the team!!
Er..like how much of a true fan must you be to stop supporting them!

Most of the wankers end up supporting Man U as it's the "in thing".
I remember when Fulham, Liverpool, Arsehole & Chelsea were the In-thing's.

Tossers. No loyal fans. You either get turn coats or wankers that are just in it for a punch up. Yes West Ham are guilty for the ICF and they brought shame to the game.

Anyway, let's see what happens next season. If we do manage to get back into the Prem. we'll end up no higher than 7th....as usual.

I dunno, if our teams buggered off 30 miles away to play could we still call them our local team? I reckon i'd have a problem going to watch leeds if they played in Sheffield, cos its like sheffield not leeds. Maybe that's total tribal bollocks as has been suggested before, but hey, that's what a lot of football is. Yes every team has dickheads that take it to the shameful extreme, and we are as quilty as any, but for the most it's a bit of fun, our town vs yours, lets have a game then a beer, that's why I love it.

ps. i'd love 7th in the first division lol

When I was but a little foul mouthed bastard, the son of a friend of the family had me support Leeds as it was his team.
I was too young to see the error of my ways.

I like the my town vs your town bit, but alas it's not the way it ends up.

Now take American footy. Big girls blouses in serious armour and padding, but you can take the family along. Kids, mums & dads, fuck, even grandparents. Very little swearing.
I admit that when I played many moons ago, it was a swearathon but that was on the field.
Take Baseball, again, a family game that is only fucked up when it creates a World Series that only has U.S teams involved.
Wankers. I mean the officials of course and not the citizens...for fear of Bimmercats blades.
