Got this gem of a film last week. Tim Roths debut. Still stands up well after 22 years. Need a reason NOT to vote BNP, then watch this.

I recently saw again the TV mini-series of Shogun, and lo and behold, right at the start, playing a Dutch sailor (and over-acting badly) was none other than Bob "Beaky" Cryer.

Re: Made in Britain DVD
Bob Cryer Stevie, but his acting pales into insignificance to Roths superb portrayal of 'Trevor'
The opening court scene is excellent as is the Job Centre scene

Re: The Hit
Yes Steve, another excellent film with John Hurt as the assasin and Roth as his 'apprentice' after Terance Stamp.
But did you know that the Roth part was originally penned for Joe Strummer who turned it down as The Clash were finished and he saw Tim Roth in Made in Britain and recommended Roth to the producers of The Hit?
Check it if you don't believe me
