would ignore the 2nd reminder notice for their electricity,water,telephone or gas today....privatisation has meant Utilities won't carry people like the public system used to who didn't pay
They could quite easily carry you on their books but its better to disconnect you and collect the reconnection fee...its all about the bottom line
Similar to banks....get more than 3 monthly payments behind and they have the right to sell your property at a fire sale price.Sadly its more the norm than an isolated case here and there
