I read something similar in a book from the 20's or 30's i think, a sort of everything a woman should know.

Stuff from how to date, finding the right man (eyes not too close together that sort of thing), what to do on the wedding night and so on.

Also, how to make face cream out of lard!!! (if anyone wants the recipe....)
