Anyone have any info please? haven't the slightest clue about them but want to get one, one that would give the most compatible playback om normal DVD players, thanks

Check out the Pioneer 107.
A great little burner, uses both DVD formats i.e. +/-
and writes at 8x.
i shall stop now as im starting to sound like delboy trotter
