Each course needs to reflect its degree of difficulty otherwise it is pretty pointless
The only other solution is for the UNIs to set their own entrance exams
We had a course MathS back in the early 80's which was no harder than Year 10 Maths offered as part of your Final Year
A throw away course IMO
A great way to boost your entrance score but what was the point academically speaking?
