So.....if you could just leave wherever you are now and move somewhere new where would it be? Pure fantasy, forget all the reality and think...where?
I personally have always fancied Montana with it's truly spectacular scenery, affable population and that incredible sky which really does seem to go on forever. It's either that or Budapest which is a fascinating city. Hmmm....

Re: Moving to.......
Well I've done it for real. Moved to NZ from South Wales.
And yes, it was worth all the hassle even if the Income Tax is worse than the UK.

I'm quite happy where I am now to be honest.....Adelaide South Australia
Apart from the occasional Massive bush fire & small earthquake tremors we seem to be in the eye of the storm when it comes to natural disasters
Beach....a 20 minute away
Get from one side of town to the other in under an hour
Wineries & Pubs in abundance
Population small enough that theres enough for everybody
cheers

Re: Moving to.......
I come from and live in London, and love it!
I spent two years in Bermuda (good), 3 years in Australia (great) and fair amout of time elsewhere on business trips such as Hong Kong (great) and the States (hit and miss).
I'm currently thinking about Canada (Toronto) or Barcelona as my next location
. Few places in the USA appeal for a long stay - maybe NY, Seattle and Denver.
Cayman Islands and Bahamas were both popular as the next step after Bermuda, even more laid back and more affordable.
I thoroughly recommend Oz or NZ for overall quality of life. Living in an "anglo-saxon" country has big advantages - less cultural and language barriers. Down Under is such a young and energetic place to be.
