Its not so much Owen thats to blame, rather than the tactics of playing long balls in the air and expecting a midget to win it. Hee needs it on the ground to run at the third world defenders he was up against last night.

James has had so many chances now, thet his mistakes can no longer be put down to bad luck, he's just not international standard.

And Neville is the worst full back (of 5 or more caps) ever to play in an England shirt.

talk of dodgy keepers seems to have brought every forum Scot into this particular thread Why are you surprised look at our history I could keep goal better than someof our keepers in the past .

Just got back from a weekend in Wisconsin watching american football - shame David fucking James doesn't switch codes and give that version of football a try.

The clumsy git's clearly no good at the english version. Bah!

But surely American football requires the players handle the ball for a large percentage of the game. Clearly something Mr James finds a little too much like hard work.

Still, I suspect he at least pays his electricity bills. Something the Spanish national team might want to look in to.
