havent had time to copy as yet only just found out i can play a cd while recording from tv.

This machine looks good. Would I be able to transfer my video's on dvd-r's with no problem? If so, it's going on my christmas list

Hi,

I don't know too much about this particular machine but I'll try to help you.

If connecting the VCR and DVD recorder together then you won't get menus and chapters. You have to do that on a PC with the relevant software.

If you are using DVD-R discs then get a decent one i.e. a brand name. The cheaper ones will have errors on them and therefore freeze when playing them back. It only costs a little more but will be worth it.
