The mormons keep knocking at my door. Always clean cut young men from Utah or Idaho of about 19 years of age. Ask them about music or films and they go blank. Poor kids have been brought up in a sheltered environment. They have never heard of Emminem or Madonna or any film that you can think of. Sad.

It offends against chastity... chastity is a.abstention from unlawful sexual intercourse or b.abstention from all sexual intercourse.

'perverts' is to cause turn away from what is good or true or morally right. The conjugal act is sex inside marriage.

'base' could mean a lacking or indicating the lack of higher qualities of mind and spirit
So sexual pleasure is base or rather of the body.
illicit means not permitted or unlawful (so sex outside marriage is illicit in the catholic religion but not actually unlawful)
Illicit profit means unpermitted profits? or is it unlawful profits? Are you not permitted to make a profit from porn? Give it away free?
