Forum glitches

Post by Pianaman »

I've really been having problems acessing the forum at times recently. Often lately it's very slow and pages take forever to load, and sometimes there are not even any messages showing - just empty space with some blurb about mysql..... or something and the index at the top. Is there a bandwidth problem at the moment?

That's what happens when you have a fascist dictatorship forum board dude.
It's karma for deleting my post like the savage bastards that they are.

Too mnay people trying to access the forum apparently
causing an over load

No different to trying to get into a chat room and being denied access or being in one and dropping out

Everything has its upper limit be it bandwidth or non-flexibility of the software

cheers

yes, we are currently experiencing difficulties in processing all of the queries (cue infanitile homo-comickery) currently being placed on our server. even as i type though, serried ranks of white-coated, be-comb-overed boffins are diligently scrutinising precariously stacked reams of data in order to resolve this matter.

in the meantime, if forumites could see their way to cutting down on the average number of swear words per post, that should ease considerably the strain being placed on our set-up. think of it as the virtual equivalent of not having all the lights on during a power crisis...

actually, your post was removed because the recipient was a first-time poster placing a courteous request for assistance, which merits a degree slack being cut his way by vets such as yourself.

Sorry dude, but being a "vet"also means that we spot these people a mile off.
The usual one poster and never to return type.
I wont do it again, but like I said, I only laughed at Pete's question of pay.

Anyway, I like being called a vet.
Get me a big fat cow so I can stuff my arm up her arse.

Cue endless unpopular female star gags.

Message fucking recieved and under-bastard-stood SIR.
Pay attention Mags you fuck.

Seriously, it's an odd attempt to curb my medically proven tourettes but I will try, in fact I WILL NOT SWEAR FOR SEVEN DAYS AT LEAST.
I'll go one better, I wont post for a week as the urge will be too strong.

Farewell my brothers.
