Not familiar with that book or that practice but am aware of aversion therapy

You should give some of Sharpe's books a go. Riotous Assembly and Indecent Exposure are utter pisstakes on the apartheid system and the police. The Throwback might just be the sickest, blackest comic novel ever written.

Apartheid might be a bit close to the bone given our countries history with its indigenous population

They tried seperation we just murdered them

So much good literature ralting to real events and I still continue to read fantasy be it medieval or science fiction

I'm reading Lord of the Rings AGAIN

Can't believe how much was changed to accomodate the sceenplay

The more I read the more I see the hollywood touch even though it was made in NZ
