Thought you might like to know that Orgazmik are selling all Evil Angel DVDs (the American versions) for ?18 this weekind. There's probably a couple of quid postage on top of that but it's still not bad.
And before you ask, I am not employed by either, just a long standing customer who's more than satisfied with their service.

But you can get them everywhere in London for ?20 each, ?17 each for three, ?12-?14 each for five. Why the hell would anyone from the UK order them mail order, unless they physically can't amke it to the Smoke (which is fair enough). Evil Angel is one of only two non-Brit companies (Hustler the other) that you can get R18 over here. In fact, Evil Angel dominate the UK R18 market with around 40 of their recent titles out on DVD. Had it been anyone else (eg Extreme Associates) I might be interested, but Evil Angel is the one company you don't need to go out of UK for, 'cause you can get their shit way cheaper over here.

You say 'unless they can't make it to the Smoke' as if that was a tiny minority of people in Britain. Your posts on this topic are getting tiresome. Even if they bought enough to make up for the train fare and other expenses, not everyone wants to take the time for the trip on every occasion they might want to buy a video or DVD. Do you own shares in a Soho licensed sex shop?

Um, no I don't, and I don't even live in London myself (and in fact, during the last three months I have been to Southampton, Bristol, Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Preston, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Middlesborough, Nottingham, Derby, Bolton, Oxford, Peterborough, Brighton, Cambridge, Plymouth, Cardiff, Wrexham, Darlington, York, Leeds, Ipswich and Leicester - none of this for work purposes, I just like travelling). I just thought that if people can happily advise others where to buy porn cheap in Amsterdam on here, it might be worth telling people where to buy porn cheap in Britain. As the BRITISH Girls in Adult Film Database, surely you are proud of the UK porn industry, so surely you must want the money to stay in this country? If so, why is it OK for people to recommend mail order outlets in America, Holland and Switzerland on here, but not similarly prized UK (albeit London) retailers? And it's not just a London thing. I haven't investigated as I should have, but I'm sure other large towns - those where there is competition rather than a DS monopoly - will have similar deals. Of course, there is a far bigger range available on mail order and for those who cannot or don't want to travel it is the best option. I was just pointing out for those who can and do, that the competition in Soho has driven prizes down to mail order levels and below. That is all I am saying...

Judging by your list of places you have visited you must be a train driver. I know someone who lives in London and he has a huge porn collection but always buys mail order. Soho has a bad reputation for rip-offs. Why bother fighting your way through crowds of Japanese tourists and "care in the community" people that make up the pedestrian population of central London when the stuff can be delivered to your door.

If people buy originals of videos made by British producers from USA or the continent, the effect on the finances of those producers may be the same as, perhaps even better than, that of buying them in Soho - especially given the wholesale prices reputedly offered by a certain chain. Thus the question of the money staying in the country does not arise. It is indeed the British GIRLS in Adult films Database. And British GIRLS work all over the place, including for Evil Angel.
In addition the range of R18 titles is very small compared to the number of titles in total, and tends to be dominated by videos not featuring British girls. Rocco videos (Evil Angel) featuring Kelly Stafford are also those most likely to be cut for R18 certification.

I remember back in the halcion days of 1992 when Evil Angel was basicly just Buttman. Then Elegant Angel appeared. Does anyone know what the difference between these companies is?

Alec asked if he was wrong re sexshops outside London. No Alec your right. I know that each of the three or four sexshops within 30 miles of where I live is owned by DS and they are not competative at all. No choice and extortinate prices. I may change my view if r18 is scrapped and Dinky Dave ceases to hold a monopoly on these shops. Some pople live 100 miles from the nearest DS shop, so why travel just to be ripped off.
I am not anti London and I apologise to Mr Strudle if I seemed that way but I am puzzled as to why he keeps knocking mail order in favour of shops. 99% of our population live outside of the south-east.

Elegant Angel is run by Patrick Collins who appeared in some Buttman films as 'Roscoe'. I'm not sure which company was set up first, but I think they are different companies. The first page of the Evil angel website explains how Stagliano runs the company. It seems he doesn't buy rights to titles, but sells them for the other producers and pays them royalties. Don't know if this has any bearing on Elegant Angel.
PS Some (not all) of the recent Elegant Angel titles I've watched are poor. Cumback Pussy 44 achieves the remarkable feat of making a Hannah Harper scene boring.

I enjoyed that scene more than the sex scenes. Yep, I am odd. But at least we knew that scene was not set up like the rest.
