I couldn't believe it when I heard it on the news earlier. Such a tragic waste and made even worse because of his great fight since 1995 and he was getting the feeling back in parts of his body. Also for me the only Superman! RIP Christopher Reeve!

I'm no scientist, but although Kerry is FOR stem cell research and Bush is AGAINST it, my bias is swayed by the fact that Christopher Reeve was for it. Either way, I hope stem cell research is allowed with strict conditions.
Christopher Reeve, I believe was a man with morals and a family man and would not have taken the decision to support this type of research without careful consideration. I hope his fight with Congress was not in vain.
Hopefully, if the day ever comes that stem cell practice is commonplace, history will remember a time when Christopher fought for it and not take his efforts in vain.
May he rest in peace.

Can't believe Superman is dead.
What next?
Aquaman drowns in the bath?
Had he been anyone other than Chris Reeves, he would have been fucked years ago.
I wonder if they shot the horse that flipped him.
Poor horses.

Nice thoughts Holden ... but I would say that he was pretty fucked years ago, I mean would you fancy a life strapped to a wheelchair, not able to speak or move and having to eat through a whole in your windpipe with the worlds press basically following your every move??
btw are you auditioning for a part as Billy Connolly?s right hand man in his next comedy show??

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?
