Airports rarely have anything that would be better if shredded and composted when it comes to reading material

I've found Janny Wurts Fantasy books excellent

Rivetting Fantasy tales

All her books and few excerpts are listed on her website

I have just finished the new Tom Sharpe book "Wilt in Nowhere". Great book, very funny, well worth a read. Good light entertainment.

Other books recently read are the three books from David Pelzer Child Called It, The Lost Boy and Man called Dave. These are his life story of abuse by his mum as a kid. Truly shocking reading, but the sort of book you can't really put down.

currently reading 'A Land of Two Halves' by Joe Bennett

basicly a middle aged bloke from New Zealand decides to go hitchhiking, simple stuff but fantastic writing turns it into a well funny read. The neighbours must think i'm wierd when they hear me burst out laughing at 3 am

we are Leeds.... , and we can still beat the mighty Chester

Joe Bennett is a bit of a prat. In his regular column in the (Wellington) Dominion Post last week he said of "Treasure Island" comparing it to "Lord of the Flies" ......"I havn't read it but the boys all got on together and have a really good time".
He also is a regular performer on TV and is a bit of a Billy Connolly, laughing at his own, not very funny, remarks.

Anyone who is not respectful of the great RLS is not worthy of your consideration, let alone your scorn.
