Out.Of.Order.

Not to mention disrespectful to John Peel. I like the breakfast show but i guess you could misinterpret his humour as arrogant self-agrandment.

No, it's most respectful to John Peel. He is the benchmark by which all other DJs should be judged.

John Peel had no front, no arrogance and no spite in him. He was genuinely just in it for the music, and gave a lot back to the industry. That's why there's been such a massive response to the very sad news of his death.

Chris Moyles is the fat kid that got picked on at school and so became a 'funny man'. His 'humour' is yet more of the terminally dull laddism that I hoped had died out with Chris Evans (who at least was an innovator). If I want funny I'll watch 'Little Britain'. If I want music I'll watch 'Later'. If I want a sad little twat propping up his inadequacies on air, I'll listen to Chris Moyles.

Peel had wit. Moyles is witless, but, sadly, not titless.
