good points but you say that 99% of criminals are armed, why, cos 99% of homeowners are armed, vicious circle and sometimes innocent people die as in this case

plus you say the guy was drunk, but no one can prove this, lucky for the homeowner eh!

I can understand the guy being scared but I still can't comprehend the justification for taking a life, but maybe thats just the difference between our cultures

my mate was out late at night with his girlfriend and 4 asylum seekers tried to mug him.unfortunately for them he does a bit of martial arts so after a few punches 2 of them ran off leaving my mate holding 1 and another 1 sparked out on the floor.the old bill turned up and nicked them.next day my mate went down the station to see what they were charged with and he was told they had been let go without charge.apparently so many of them are being nicked and claiming not to speak English that the police just cannot afford to keep paying for interpreters so the cps have told them that unless it is an open and shut case to let them go.as it was the word of 2 kosovans against my mate and his bird there was only a 50/50 chance of conviction.when my mate asked what he should do if it happened again the copper said well i understand you battered a few of them.next time finish the job and dont get caught.fucking great.so where does all the council tax go that we pay?

There's a frenzy over asylum seekers here in Hull, they are the only people that want to live here!
I don't approve of the knee-jerk racism mosy of the chavs round throw at them (the rogue element of the local cruise boyz mowed down a few with their cars, which they duly got life sentences for, quite rightly) but I do know that a policeman friend has told me that the official unofficial line is that they don't get done for motoring offences, due to the procedures being too complicated! (which is, in true Blair-era style, the opposite of what they tell us)
However, they might take their car and crush it("Operation Cubitt") if they're pulled without tax. If you're British, of course, they'll steal your car and prosecute you.....
