Couldn't watch the coverage with the sound up---and barely stood it with the sound down. All those immaculately groomed, ridiculously coiffeured septics looking down their patrician noses at ordinary people. If they are representative of the powers that be in the US, it's no wonder the country is so hated.

BC, I know the Americans love to slag us Brits off about our (admittedly) poor dental hygiene, but what is it with well-to-do American males and their haircuts. Kerry's hair looked like it had been knitted on, Edwards spent 80% of the campaign brushing his hair into place, and the political analyst (thankfully didn't catch his name) on with Dimbleby, and who had a college ring the size of a small moon, must use so much hairspray to keep his 30-year-old style in place that they should name the hole in the ozone layer after him.
