There was a report over here that estimated their earnings at $24million. The state has a 30 day limit of 90,000 emails, and they went over it by 10,000 each month. Bad mistake!

I think it's a ridiculous sentence personally.

I know this happened in the states and has not been done by Uk law. But 9 years for sending spam. Sure it's damn annoying but most of us have bulk folders etc now and you just press the delete button.

We have violent criminals getting 12-18 months for serious violent assaults and similar sentences being dished out for manslaughter.

Where's the comparison?

I know what I think is worse and it aint the spam.

Okay if thats the case then it's different but the law, particularly in the UK does baffle me at times.
