Spyware detection.

Post by mart »

Don't you get a bit suspicious when Zone Labs offers a free scan using Spyware Killer and it finds 34 but Spybot S&D finds none?

Oldest trick in the marketing handbook

Make it look like your product is better than the rest
by detecting non-existant spyware- false positives

If its any of the spykillers listed here then its a lemon and not suprisingly
the same company is playing both sides of the fence

Best just to stick with those listed under "trustworthy anti-spy products"

cheers
