You go swimming or surfing you know the dangers exist that a shark might mistake you for a seal and attack
Very few people die after an attack but the attention it gets via the media is bizarre...playing on the publics fear to sell papers
Very ironic how on a 39 degree celsious day very few ventured
to the beach but probably jumped in the car and went for a drive

Now we've got wankers spotting fins and raising the alarm just to find out it was a dolphin
Rather than this absurd notion that the Boys family is putting forward that all sharks be tagged.I'm sure pretty soon we'll be rolling out the army
and setting up machine gun posts next to the life savers...if it was good enough to keep the crocodiles at bay when troops went swimming in waterholes in the Northern Territory in WWII then its got to be worth a try with the sharks at the beach
For mine it should be mandatory for surfers to use anti-shark devices
instead of this current circus of boats,helicopters & planes playing spot the shark
